The Sierra Fund is designed to help Maine pet owners provide needed veterinary care for their pets which may include initial vet visits, follow-up visits, medications, and other related expenses, TBD. Sierra was a beloved Australian shepherd who was part of the Dorr family for almost 16 years, and who proved herself to be loyal, loving, and friendly to all who knew her.

Qualifications to apply:

1. The Sierra Fund aims to help senior dogs and their owners with medical needs due to financial hardship.

2. Must have proof of State of Maine residency.

3. Must have proof of being at or below 150% of current Poverty Guidelines; see Poverty Guidelines document attached to application.

4. Must be applying for a senior dog (generally 7+)
